HISTORICAL ROUTE

Visiting The Underground City Osówka with a guide. The tourists learn about the object creation, events on the frontlines of the World War Two and about building military complexes in the Owl Mountains. They get acquainted with the fate of people working at the Riese project and learn about numerous curiosities related to Osówka, the Owl Mountains and Lower Silesia in general.

Following the Historical Route, you will see: methods of drilling underground tunnels, different stages of the construction, guardhouses, photos of the external buildings, exhibits, armaments, equipment, halls with original formwork dating back to 1944 – concrete gangways – technical solutions of the object – scenography from films shot in the undergrounds. This is the route for everybody, with no significant limits.
